SNOCONES & WILD SUNFLOWERS IN SUBLETTE, KANSAS

We started this session off right with a trip to the snocone shack and a spunky little girl that would not take anything but the deep, red, cherry flavor.

After half a dozen wet wipes and an outfit change we headed to a wild sunflower field right outside of Dad's feed yard. By the time we made it to the feed yard, our Kansas winds had blown in a gnarly little thunderstorm. We got to the top of the hill knowing we were racing against those storm clouds ready to downpour on us. 

We beat the rain, endured the wind and celebrated with some beers. It was my kind of western Kansas photo shoot.
