ROLLERBLADES & ROMANCE IN ARKANSAS CITY, KANSAS

Because Ruy is from Sao Paulo, Brazil, these two wanted a more urban vibe for their engagement photos. Downtown Arkansas City alleyways are what spoke to them. Sometimes you get so used to seeing the same things everyday that you don’t have the chance to value the beauty within. These two understood the unique characteristics of behind the scenes of the town where they fell in love.

They also took me to a walking trail outside of town where they like to visit. Micah can often be found there rollerblading next to Ruy as he runs. ‘He’s too fast and I can’t keep up with just running, so I rollerblade!'

After meeting at Cowley College, Ruy said he chased Micah and wouldn’t give up until she finally went out with him. Look where persistence got him! Ruy and Micah will be getting married at the Viola Estate south of Arkansas City, Kansas in July. I can’t wait to be a part of their day.
