SUMMER SUNSET WEDDING IN ARKANSAS CITY, KANSAS
/It was a very hot, Midwestern summer day, but the sunset at the end of the ceremony sure took the cake.
So many of the day's details were made by the bride, groom and their families. Micah has been collecting vintage brooches for years. She wanted to make her bridal bouquet out of her colorful collection. She delicately tied them together to create her very own work of art.
It's always fun to see the details that make a wedding day a personalized celebration in honor of the couple.
In brazil it is a tradition for the groomsmen to lead the guests in the traditional tie cutting ceremony. Wedding guests purchase the opportunity to cut off a snippet of the groom's necktie. Along with me, a majority of the guests had never witnessed anything like this before. It was wild and wonderful!
It was a very colorful and lively day spent with Micah and Ruy, I wish you all the best.
